When ordering our tonneau truck bed cover it is very important to know if your truck has a short bed, long bed, micro bed, etc. Every truck manufacturer has a name for their body style and it is important to have the correct name of the body style. There is a 25% restocking fee for returns for incorrect sizes.
BED LINERS
Q: Can I use?a bed liner?
A: Yes, Any under the rail bed liner can be used.? Over the rail bed liners will need to be slightly modified.? Two areas on each side would need to be slightly trimmed so the hardware clamps will attach to the rail of the truck bed.? This trimming will allow the cover to work with over the rail bed liners without removing the liner.
BOW ARCH
Q: Why is there an arch in the bows?
A: For strength and water runoff the arch is 1 to 1 1/2 inch thus the cover remains very low profile.
CLEANING YOUR TONNEAU COVER
Q: How are the covers cleaned?
A: Vinyl Cleaners are not recommended for the soft cover. Any common household soap and water method should be used.
COVER CLOSURE
Q: How does the cover stay closed?
A: You must be sure to latch the truck cover or it could be caught by the wind at higher speeds. The latches are included and are not visible from the top of the cover with the tailgate closed. This gives extra security to your cargo. ?

COVER SEALS
Q: How does it seal?
A: An OEM quality weather seal is attached to the cover, it will sit on the edge of the truck bed approximately?3/4 inch from the inside of the box.
DRILLING
Q: Is there any drilling required?
A: No, the covers are designed to clamp on to the inside bed rails. An under the rail bed liner can be used.? Note: A small amount of drilling is required on special models such as the Chevy Sportside, Ford Flareside & Splash. The Shock Mount would need a 1/4 inch hole drilled to the inside lip of the bed on those special models.
FLUSH MOUNTED COVER
Q: Is this a flush mounted cover?
A: No, the covers are very low profile, approximately 3/8 inch high but the cover sits on the edge of the bed approx 3/4 inch from the inside of the bed. This allows a better weather seal. ?

INSTALLATION
Q: How hard is the installation?
A: Each Soft Cover is a Kit and comes with complete numbered detailed drawings and instructions. Common household tools are required. Completion of a cover should take between two to four hours. QUALITY
Q: What is the quality of the product?
A: Craftec uses very heavy gauge heat treated aluminum. Only the highest grade of vinyl designed specifically for Tonneau covers is used. Quality is inspected continuously during production. ?

REMOVAL
Q: How easy is it to remove the covers?
A: The Unique ?C? Hinge makes the removal easy. Simply slide the gas shocks from their clips, lift the cover to a vertical position, pull back to release and remove . With a little practice, this can be done in as little as 20 seconds and makes your truck a full service vehicle. The Soft Cover weight is as light as 35 lbs. so can be removed by just about anyone.

STORAGE
Q: Can the cover be removed when you are away from home?
A: Yes, but this requires a little more work as the vinyl will need to be peeled away from the frame and the bows removed from the framework. We suggest always carrying a few spare tools with you if you need to remove the cover in an emergency.??

Q: How heavy is the vinyl?
A: The vinyl is an 18oz. material specifically designed for Tonneau cover usage.
WEATHER RESISTANT
Q: Does the cover leak?
A: If correctly installed, the weather seal rests on top of the bed rail forming a good seal and making it very water tight. There may, however, be some leakage around the tailgate area.???

WARRANTY
Q: What is the warranty?
A: A limited lifetime Warranty against defects on the aluminum framework and three years on the vinyl.
